Happy Birthday to: Zackary Laupp 

Any 7th or 8th grader who wants to learn more about the bridge building club and state competition are invited to come to an informational meeting after school next Tuesday, October 22, in the STEAM room, from 2:45-4. Please sign up in the office or with Ms. Jenkins before Tuesday.

Are you interested in Chess? Mr. Wirtz will be holding a “Chess Club” see flyers posted throughout the school for more information. Any skill level is welcome. 

Students-There are still some 23-24 yearbook available in the main office or library for $30.00. Check or cash only.

Attention 7th and 8th grade girls: Competitive cheer signups are on the counter in the main office. Sign up on the clipboard, take a packet, and fill it out completely. 

7th & 8th grade boys basketball tryouts will begin Monday, October 21 right after school. You must have a physical on file in the office to try out. 

Make sure you’re putting your LEAD tickets in the bins in the cafeteria. Don’t miss out on being in a drawing for cool stuff. Make sure you get your tickets in and please be sure your first and last name are on the tickets. Teachers, please remember to hand out LEAD tickets. 

In Sports- Are you interested in the Clay Target Team? There will be a fall parent informational meeting for those interested. It will be held on Tuesday October 29 at 6:15 in the high school cafeteria. Coaches will be on hand to answer any questions.

A special CONGRATULATIONS to the 7th grade football team on their undefeated season. A great effort was put in by all players throughout the entire season. Great job guys!

Volleyball news: Great Season ladies.

8A Won, serves- Adeline and Ella. Digs-Bristol, Paige and Adaleigh. Assists- Samiya. Kills- Ande, Presley and Reese. 

8B lost 1-2. Most kills- Caitlynn Day. Most Serves- Kimber Reid and Ellie Madison. Game 3 winning point was made Kailyn Wagaman. 

7A won. Best passer- Riley Vaccaro. Kills- Katie Leamy, Annabelle Shea and Isa Stanley. Best Serves-Sarah Backman.

7B Won. MVP- Aaliyah Noel, Best serves- Kailey Feight and Sophia Gates, Best passer- Josie Oliver. Most encouraging- Sarah Murphy. Best Setter- Brielle Fry. 

Cross Country ended their season at Hastings last night. It was a tough course, but the boys and girls teams both placed 2nd overall at the meet. Personal Records: Mason Johnson, Brogan Millen, Patrick Klein, and Zac Antes. We are proud of these kids for all of their hard work that they put into this season!! We cannot wait to see where these runners will go next year.
