Attention Juniors, if you’d like to get an early start on your senior hours by helping with the Girls on the Run event this Friday and Saturday at Harper Creek, please stop in and see Mr. Renner for more information.  If you’re not a junior and would like to volunteer, please stop by as well.

Beautiful day for the Beavers this past Saturday as the Clay Target Team traveled to compete at the Lowell Schools Skeet and Sporting Clays Invitational in Lansing. Congratulations to Freshman Gavin Rice as he lead the JV Division in Skeet with a High Overall score of 41 out of 50. Rice was immediately followed by fellow Freshman Beaver and teammate Eli Morris who came in with the second high overall score for the JV Division shooting a score of 40 out of 50. Senior Decklan Craft came in 2nd High Overall in the Varsity Division in Skeet boasting a score of 46 out of 50. Skeet had the Varsity squad placing 5th and the JV squad medaled with their short 2-man squad placing 3rd edging out a full 3-man squad from Rockford. Sporting Clays had the Beavers bringing a medal in 3rd place for the short JV squad of Eli Morris and Gavin Rice, again edging out a full 3-man squad from Rockford. Morris would finish for the day 2nd High Overall in the JV Division in Sporting Clays followed closely by Rice who finished 3rd High Overall.

Tickets for the Annual ‘Night of Jazz’, Dinner dance are on sale in the office and the band room. This event will be on May 18th starting at 6pm. There will be live music, a catered meal, dancing and raffles throughout the evening. Tickets are only $20 each.
