Monday April 7

Attention all 9th, 10th and 11th graders: Student council applications for next year are now available. Any student who is interested in joining Student Council next year should pick up an application packet from the main office. There are three parts to the application, a google form application, a student signature form, and teacher recommendation forms. All three parts must be completed and turned in to the office or Mr. Brinker by 8am on Monday April 28th. See Mr. Brinker with any questions.
Congratulations to Ciara Funk and Georgia Whitten. These two young women were nominated for the Sutton Foster Awards for their outstanding performances in the spring musical. Because of their nomination, they will get to work with Broadway professionals and fellow theater kids from around the state on singing, dancing, and performing. They will also be considered for the national finals in New York City! Break a leg girls!
If you are a senior who has donated blood at least 6 times you can receive a blood cord for graduation. Email Mrs. Helmbreck for details. The deadline to receive these cords is April 15th.
Attention Students: Are you a senior that needs volunteer hours to meet your graduation requirement? Are you a junior that needs community service hours to add to your scholarship applications next year? Are you a new or existing NHS member that needs volunteer hours to maintain your good standing in the organization? Or, if you have ever played any sport at the Wattles Park Men's Club, please consider volunteering with Mr. Lowrie at the Wattles Park Men's Club Community Day on Saturday April 12 from 10 am until noon. We will be helping with light groundskeeping and assist with preparing the fields and facilities for the upcoming spring soccer and baseball seasons. And we'll even buy you a donut. So, please consider joining Mr. Lowrie for a tasty pastry, and the opportunity to give back to your community with a couple hours of your time.
