Happy Birthday to: Peyton Bess, Christopher Rose, Kendyl Smith, Holland Van Dussen & Amariana White

Attention 8th-12th graders: are you interested in theater but not in being on stage? Would you like to meet some new people AND learn new skills? Consider joining the tech crew for our upcoming musical. There will be a meeting in Ms. Hurley’s room (120 at the high school) on February 20th after school. Check your email for a form and more details!

Middle School Conferences- Conferences will be held February 11th and 12th from 3:00-7:00 pm. The link to sign up is on the web page.

Attention 7th & 8th graders!  Mark your calendars for our Valentine's Day Dance on Friday, February 14th from 3-5 pm in the cafeteria!  Tickets are $5.00 and will be sold during lunch and at the door.  The dress is casual, whatever you wear to school is fine, however, wear red or pink if you have it. Concessions will be available.

During the first two weeks of February, the Student Council will be selling goodies at lunch to be delivered to your special Valentine.  Whether it is your bestie, crush, or love of your life... let the Student Council brighten their day!  

Students—Please remember that many classes of students are NWEA testing for the next couple of weeks. When you change classes, please be quiet and respectful in the hallways.

Reminder: You are not allowed to use your phone from bell to bell. If you are not feeling well, please let an adult know. Do Not Text your parents—that is using your phone. 

Teachers- Please remember to give out LEAD tickets for following LEAD expectations. Students must deposit their tickets in the LEAD bin in the cafeteria to be in the running for cool prizes. 

In sports- 7A Girls' Hoops had another hot night defeating the Pennfield Panthers 54-15, taking the team to 3-0.  Lily Gandy led the Beavers with 14 points and 6 rebounds.  Isa Stanley continued to drop dimes with another double-double of 10 points and 11 assists.  It was another great night of selfless family hoops playing tough defense and sharing the ball.  The next game is tonight at home! 

The 7th grade girls' B basketball team moved to 3-0 yesterday by defeating Pennfield 55-28. All the players made a great team effort. Jazimin Landenberger led all scorers with 26 points. Haley Green poured in 13 points, including the team's first three-point basket of the season! Annabelle Shea scored 6 with Abby Miller adding 4. Bri Fry, Adi Waterson, and Acariel Nelson all scored 2 points. Tonight the girls play Gull Lake at home starting at 3:45.

The 8th-grade girls basketball teams traveled to Pennfield last night. B team played hard but fell short. The top scorers were Kyle Noble and Jazmyn Dillard with 2 points each and Azzy Gaines with one point. The A team hustled but fell short 29-22. The top scorers were Alaina Kirkpatrick with 6 points, Anna Loritz with 4 points, Gabby Barroso with 3 points, Holland Van Dussen, Ella Brannan, and Adeline Higgs with 2 points apiece and Samiya Thompson had 1 point. The 8th graders are on the road again tonight at Gull Lake.  

Our wrestlers head to Pennfield tonight for a meet.
