7th B girls' basketball had a big 23 - 4 win over Hastings last night. We made some really great passes and played great defense. Anna Loritz had 18 points. Bristol Latimer had 3 points, and Gabby Barosso had 2 points. Nice work, ladies!
7th A girls basketball had a great win last night over Hastings 33-16. Leading scorers were Ande King with 10 points, Ella Brannen 8 points, Alaina Kilpatrick and Abigail Cook both with 5 points each, Adaline Higgs with 3 points, and Marnie Wright with 2 points. Great job girls! Reminder no practice today.
The 8th grade girls basketball teams traveled to Hastings last night. The B team was able to hold off the Saxons and pull out an exciting win, beating them 23 to 21. Top scorers were Kaydence Jacox with 14 points, Audrina Nelson with 6 points, and Natalia Hoyt with 3 points. The A team also had a great win, beating Hastings 44 to 14. Top scorers were Madelyn Gallagher with 9 points, Kendal Latimer with 7 points, Olivia Hensel with 6 points, Avayda Dawe and Addie Mitchell with 4 points, Lauren Eversole and Aubrie Stewart with 3 points, and Morgan Beach and Rylee Zumer with 2 points each. The 8th grade girls will play on Tuesday at home against Marshall. Come on out and support the girls!

Jazz band members-due to parent teacher conferences there will be no rehearsal tonight.
Any 5th grade girls interested in Girls on the Run: Information packet are on the counter in the office. Or you can go online to the Harper Creek Middle School website to register.
If you are interested in playing Lacrosse sign up forms are on the counter in the office. This is open to 5th through 8th graders.
Students- The school store has new hours. It will now be open Tues, and Thurs. from 7:20-7:40. That is the time you can cash in your Lead Tickets. If you can’t come at this time, see Mrs. Schultz. Teachers, please be sure to sign your Lead Tickets. They will not be valid without a teacher signature.
Are you interested in joining the Equestrian Team? Sign-ups are on the counter in the office. You must have or have access to a horse that is suitable for showing and competing in gymkhana classes.
The next student council meeting will be held on next Tuesday, February 27th after school.
