With the recent devastation from hurricanes Helene and Milton, we have the chance to work together, to LEAD, and to directly help other elementary students who have been affected and impacted. We’ve joined the Great Kindness Challenge (GKC) to collect donations to help meet critical needs and bring some comfort to other elementary schools!
Beadle Lake has accepted the opportunity to put our kiddo's & staff’s compassion into action!
From Monday, October 21 to Friday, November 15, we are collecting NEW PAIRS OF SOCKS & UNDERWEAR!
We’ve been assigned Developmental Kindergarten & Kindergarten for our grade-level donations. So, we’ll be collecting items for students aged 4 years to 7 years, size XS & small for youth underwear and children’s sizes XS & Small for youth shoe sizes 6-13 for socks.
Our Goal is 500 Pairs in Total!
But, the schools, & kiddos will be grateful for anything and everything. Every pair counts and is appreciated!
After we collect our donations, we’ll be attaching messages of love and encouragement to each package of socks and undies using post-it notes and paper hearts before we mail them off! The notes will provide an uplifting and heartfelt surprise for the elementary kiddos who receive our generous gifts!
By participating, our kiddos will not only provide essential goods for the health and hygiene of hurricane-affected elementary school children, but they will also get to experience a deeper sense of empathy for what those kiddos are going through. They will know that their actions have a direct impact on the lives of others!
Donation Bins Will Be in the Main Hallway Outside of the Office!
